Serving the Homeless to drive down medical costs.

Samaritan is a Seattle-based company whose platform helps people experiencing homelessness gain the social and financial support needed to find a stable home. Through its mobile app, supporters can learn the stories of unhoused neighbors they pass by, fund critical needs, and create lifelines of hope. The company offers solutions for health plans, frontline care teams, volunteers, corporate and faith groups, and people in need.

For health plans, Samaritan partners with existing care networks or builds local partnerships with community-based organizations, outreach teams, and health centers to reach and engage high-need residents. Care teams attach financial bonuses to important next steps on a patient's care plan, such as picking up a prescription, and members spend the received funds on critical purchases alongside their care team, driving consistent engagement with care and improved health outcomes. Samaritan operates in communities including Louisville, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Bellingham, Oakland, Sacramento, and San Diego.
