Pro-Forma

Pro-Forma is a business planning and early-stage venture capital diligence platform built to equip startup founders and inform investors. Its app suite includes founder tools such as VentureGrade (a data-driven analysis scoring a business on 50 diligence criteria), VentureValue (pre-revenue startup valuation), VentureForecast (financial modeling), FounderFit, and MarketFit, alongside investor tools like VentureScreen for automated deal screening and VenturePitch. The company was founded to address one of the biggest weaknesses of startup planning: producing the detailed, comprehensive financial pro-forma founders need to pass investor due diligence, enabling anyone without accounting or finance expertise to generate financial statements, capital raise term sheets, CLTV analysis, and investor return analysis.

The platform grew out of founder Wade Myers' own startup experience, beginning as the financial model he built to raise capital for his second SaaS company before being commercialized as Pro-Forma. The company says it has served more than 25,000 founders worldwide and is used by venture capital investors as well as students, professors, and incubators at business schools. Pro-Forma is a product of Pro Forma Holdings, LLC, based in Southlake, Texas.
