Coming Home, built by VR Eval, Inc., is a case management and continuous-care platform for organizations that serve survivors of trauma, including trauma-informed organizations, recovery programs, behavioral health teams, and community-based support providers. The provider platform centralizes client records, notes, files, referrals, assessments, and service history; tracks programs, enrollments, and service delivery; and structures data for internal, funder, and grant-related reporting such as VOCA and CoC workflows. A connected, trauma-informed client mobile app extends support between sessions with assigned goals, tasks, and challenges, private chat with care providers, journaling and self-regulation tools, and learning and safety resources.
Clients are guided by Val, an AI mentor designed for trauma-informed interaction that supports users in real time without replacing the role of their care provider. The company, created by people who understand trauma firsthand, is also developing Prescription Gaming, a certification label for games with proven cognitive, emotional, and behavioral benefits for trauma recovery and mental wellness. The system supports role-based access and secure data handling and is designed for HIPAA-compliant environments.
