Altus builds and scales solutions needed to end (and prevent) human trafficking.
Altus Solutions builds and scales solutions that empower communities to end and prevent human trafficking by addressing its root causes in broken systems of care, from homelessness to youth aging out of foster care. Founded in 2019, the company blends subject-matter expertise, strategic partnerships, and technology, describing itself as a house of solutions and solutionists for community-based change. Eagle Venture Fund became its lead investor in 2023.
Its current solutions serve distinct audiences: Justice U provides expert-driven education that equips frontline professionals and concerned citizens to recognize and respond to human trafficking; Engage Together is a community assessment project that gives state agencies, task forces, and coalitions data-driven insights into where efforts are strong, where gaps exist, and how to engage the whole community; and Just In Time equips healthcare providers and child-serving professionals with training, tools, and implementation support. Altus also runs The Consultancy, which connects experts to community efforts fighting human trafficking to accelerate strategy and impact. The team includes human rights lawyers, data scientists, technologists, educators, and community consultants, working alongside partners such as Qlik, Pomerol, SIL, and the Belmont Data & AI Collaborative.
